Mona Rope swing is a popular location for a quick summer dip in the refreshing waters of Burraston Ponds, located in Mona, Utah. The ponds offer fishing, camping, swimming, and great tree-top diving.
The most popular attraction however, is the installation of two rope swings located on the the western side of the pond. Located about 100 yards from eachother each rope swing offers a different level adrenaline. Towads the south-west end of the pond features a smaller rope swing great for beginners and those looking to warm up before the big swing. The north-west rope sing offers platforms up to 30 feet to give you that extra lift off the swing. Each however offers a great time to cool off and hang out with friends.
When exiting off the Mona exit follow the road for about 3 minutes until turning left onto Mona Road (Hwy 91). Follow this road for about 5 minutes until turning right onto Burraston Road. This will lead you to the trailheads of Burraston Ponds offering small spots for a quick overnight camp.

(NOTE: the video above only features the smaller rope swing as previous adventures to the larger rope swing almost resulted in serious injuries.)
Turn left immediately after crossing the train tracks and after the first cattle guard. This will lead you around to a parking area with a short walk to the first small rope swing. Continuing along the trail north of the rope swing will lead you to the larger swing ready for those who dare.
