WALL LAKE

HIGH UINTAS

Located high in the wilderness of Utah's Uinta Mountain Range lies the deep blue waters of Wall Lake. The versatile lake offers fishing, swimming, and cliff jumping which all combine to create a short summer getaway for a picturesque adventure.

Beginning at the parking lot of Crystal Lake, a short 1 mile trail will lead you through the thick forests and mountain meadows of the High Uintas. The lake features an abundance of camping areas, however, the best spots are available on top of the rocky cliffs of the east shore. The area offers a perfect setting for incredible star gazing, and tribal dances around the fire at night.

The trail will lead you to the lower edge of the rocky cliffs and offers a great platform for a quick 15 foot dive into the chilly water. The legend goes that if a jump is made precisely at midnight under a full moon, in the nude, the diver will return from the water with eternal good luck.
