Sand Hollow Reservoir is a perfect excuse to escape the unforgiving temperatures of Southern Utah. Located only 20 minutes from St. George, UT, Sand Hollow State Park offers a wide range of activities to entertain your summer day.
Sand Hollow State Park offers hiking, boating, fishing, camping, and most importantly, also offers several great spots for a quick cliff jumping session. Whether you are passing by St. George on a road trip or visiting for the weekend, Sand Hollow Reservoir is great place to take a quick swim and refresh yourself in its warm blue waters.
A 10$ fee per vehicle is required to enter the park. From the parking lot on the east side of the reservoir follow the rim of the water north about 1/4 of a mile to a popular cliff jumping area. The sandy cliffs have multiple heights to jump from and only reach about 25 feet at maximum height, however, still a great spot to practice any dives for your upcoming wilderness dive team tryouts.
